A revival of college students has been making its way across the United States since last year led by a group called Unite Us. Starting at Auburn where 5000 students gathered and many were baptized, similar events have occurred at Florida State University, the University of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In Arkansas, 10,000 participated, with over 2000 salvations and over 800 baptisms. Mississippi State and Ole Miss each had over 6,000 students attend a praise and worship service with hundreds of salvations and baptisms. At Texas A&M’s Unite Us revival, many attended and were baptized. This was the second revival for Texas A&M. The first wasn’t associated with Unite Us. Ohio State and other universities have had spontaneous revivals, too. God is clearly at work in many ways. Commitments to Christ have carried with them healing from addiction, depression, and thoughts of suicide. All involved agree that this is only the beginning. A multitude of students are seeking the Lord, and the number is growing. Prayer warriors on this site have been praying for revival among college students for over a year and a half. God is clearly moving. Thank you for faithfully praying.

In an event that shattered all previous records in the U.S., thousands of people were baptized in California! God is also moving strongly in other parts of the country. The beaches in Florida, Texas, and various rivers have become the sites for similar mass baptisms. This is a world-wide phenomenon with similar reports in Germany and the Netherlands. May this be the summer of Jesus as people, especially our youth, turn to the Lord. Thank YOU, JESUS! And thank you, prayer warriors, for faithfully praying for revival every single day for over a year (since May 6, 2023). Let's continue to pray together. Zy'Anna said the group that met with her at her school’s prayer was made up volleyball students, cheerleaders, dance students, and LGBTQ students. She thinks the LGBT group is hurting and so they made a choice to be LGBTQ because they want to be loved and that is how they are making their statement. This is the group she wants to reach next school year. She wants to help them breakaway from that label before they make permanent decisions that will change their life in bad way. For all the parents who have prayed for good Christian friends for their children, God is doing exactly that. Thank YOU, Jesus!

The Bible study at R-dale high school met in the cafeteria during lunch and used iphone technology to connect all their phones and ipads so they could share sermons, devotionals, and prayers in that noisy environment. One of the final study topics was having a friend and being a friend. The text came from Mark 2:3-11 where four friends made a hole in a roof to lower their friend on a mat right down in front of Jesus so the friend could be healed. The students explained the importance of finding friends who will bring you to the feet of Jesus and not tear you down by leading you to do bad things. They made posters about friendship and put them up around school to encourage others to come pray with them, and also to encourage good friendships. The principal of the school took notice and was impressed! He felt that their message was helping kids steer away from drinking, drugs and sex that typical friendships at school encourage.

 God. Is. Able. He is able to do more than what we could ever have hoped for. Here's a summary of what happened at R-dale High School:

1. Zy'Anna and her friends changed their prayer meeting to the lunch hour in their lunch room. That's inside a building in the middle of the school and in the middle of the school day!

2. The number of students praying doubled to over 60!

3. Technology was used to communicate in the noisy lunchroom. A designated student leader would lift up her phone. All the other students tapped it with their phones. Then all the phones and iPads received information from the leader's phone. That included a Bible study with a devotional and prayer. All of those who had earphones or other listening devices actually heard all that was being downloaded and said. At the end of the prayer, all the students said "amen" together... right there in the middle of a public school!

In God's mercy, He gave us a window into one small high school with a faithful group of students praying. I have confidence that the same story is being lived out in schools everywhere. Every morning, Zionna and her friends, Savannah and Ashton, have been leading students in prayer in the parking lot before school starts. Recently, Zionna reported that she had started inviting other students to go to church with her. it gets even better. She texted me that she started a Bible Study club at her school. They just had their first meeting. Ten students! Turns out she’s navigating some very deep water. One of the students is Hindu and one is Muslim. I told her that missionaries travel around the world to reach others for Christ, but God is bringing them to her door. Please continue to pray for her and her friends as they seek to spread the Gospel at R-dale High School. She is so grateful to all of you for covering her in prayer. As we faithfully pray for students scattered across the globe who are are proclaiming the name of Jesus, let's especially pray for Zionna and her Bible Study Club. It meets again on April 3rd!

Thank you for praying for Zionna and her friends Savannah and Ashton. They have been praying for their school, R-dale High, for weeks. Their numbers have grown as they gather together in the parking lot at 7:30 AM each morning before school. R-dale is a public high school, and their classmates have been very supportive. Zionna said, "...so many people join us in the mornings and there are so many new faces... my teachers have asked me about it..." The three friends have been very encouraged knowing about all of you who have been praying. Zionna asked me to tell you, "THANK YOU FOR SENDING PRAYERS TO OUR SCHOOL!" It means a lot to them knowing that people they have never met are lifting them up in prayer. Thank you for your faithfulness. And if you haven't prayed for revival yet, please join us. 

Prayer warriors on this site have been faithfully praying for revival every day since May of 2023. Zionna, Savannah and Ashton are three teenagers who have been praying for their school, and we’ve been covering them in prayer. Zionna texted this update: 

Our school started with the 3 of us (Zionna, Savannah, & Ashton) then the next day it turned into 8-9 after some cheerleader were asking us what we were doing. After we told them, they asked it they could join and we agreed and said yes. Then some of them invited their boyfriends and friends and their cousins. And even some of the ones on staff started to join us!

And we do a circle thing. Each of us say one good thing that can make our day better or one good thing that we want to improve on. After our prayers, we all talk about our goals, and how we all appreciate life so much even though it’s not perfect. We also talk about being grateful. Not everyone has everything we have, and some may have more than others.

God is multiplying the students at R-dale. He’s pulled in the staff as well. Prayer Warriors from around the world—all the way to Australia—have prayed for this small school far away and the three girls there who have been praying. Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers.

Zionna is a teenager who has started to pray for her school. In four short months, she began attending church, shared the gospel with a family group at her mobile home park, got baptized, and started praying for her school with two of her friends. Because of her schedule, two weeks went by before we could touch base. Then she texted me that she had gotten a childcare job at church and told me all about it. Her life had gotten very busy. I asked if she was still praying at school with her friend Savannah.

Zionna texted: “Yup every morning!”

Me: “You made me cry. I’m double proud of you. Is it the two of you  or does anyone else join in?”

Zionna: “Ashton joins us.”

Then she added, “And a lot of the cheerleaders and some volleyball girls…”

Me: “Are you serious? How many of you are there?”

Zionna: “9 or 10 … But on Wednesdays it’s a lot more but most days 9 or 10.”

By then I was a bucket of tears. I thought of all the prayers that have been prayed here for God to raise up students to pray for their schools. In His great mercy, God showed me just one of those students so that I could tell you about her—so that you could be encouraged, too. I know without a doubt there is a great wave of students that God is preparing. There is a great miracle in the making. Thank you for praying for it.

We’ve been following the story of Zionna, a young believer who had started praying for her school. I offered to take her to her school after hours so that we could pray together. It would mark the beginning of her praying more publicly. She was excited about it, but every time I tried to set up a time, she hesitated. I finally asked if she had changed her mind. She answered with an emphatic, “NO!” She had already told two of her friends about it, and they wanted to come, too. She was just having a hard time coordinating her schedule with her two friends! Now there were three girls who wanted to pray together. When we finally set the date, only one friend, named Savannah, could come. We stood by the school’s flagpole and covered the school in prayer and also prayed over the girls for this special calling. Afterward we went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a special Bible for them. That night Zionna was baptized at church. God is working powerfully in her life. Thank you, prayer warriors, who have been praying for Zionna, Savannah, and Ashton. 

We’ve been praying for revival on this site and have specifically asked God to raise up students to pray for their schools. After taking Zionna to church for a few months, I mentioned revival to her because I hoped she would be interested in praying for revival at her school. She didn’t know what I meant by “revival”, so I told her it would start by praying for the students at her school. She said, “Oh, I’ve already been doing that!” I was stunned. She went on to say, “I had to!” She explained that several students had been gossiping about her. Her solution was to pray for them and for her school. I asked what they were gossiping about. She told me that some said she was into vaping. Others said that she had lost her virginity. She estimated that only about 2% of girls in her grade (9th grade) were still virgins. Instead of being upset at the ones gossiping, she simply laughed and said, “I would never vape, and my virginity ain’t going anywhere!” That girl has spunk! And God had already called her to pray for her school. Thank you, Lord for Zionna—for her courage and her faith. AND thank you for answering ALL of our prayers to raise up students to pray for their schools. There’s more of Zionna’s story to come.

Zionna is a new Christian that is making an impact at her school. One day I showed her The Bible Memory App right before I dropped her off after church. Many of you already use it. (The free version is great! That’s all you need.) The next time I saw her, I started to show her some verses to memorize. I was surprised to discover that she was already memorizing Scripture—Proverbs 31… the classic Proverbs 31 woman. It isn’t already loaded on the app, so I asked Zionna how she found that verse. She said that it was because of Barbie. “Is she a new friend?” I asked. Zionna laughed and said, “NO, the movie about the Barbie doll!” I don’t know much about the Barbie movie, but I was fairly certain that it didn’t recommend any Bible verses. Now catch this—it’s so cool! Zionna said that the movie talked about what being a woman meant. Zionna wasn’t satisfied with Barbie’s description, so she googled what the Bible said about women. That Google search led her straight to Proverbs 31. She didn’t want Barbie’s definition, but God’s. Thank you Lord for using everything…even the Barbie movie...to lead Zionna to truth. Please keep her in your prayers as she makes a stand for Jesus in her school.

We’ve been praying for Zionna, a teenager at R-dale high school. On her 16th birthday, my husband and I took her to lunch to celebrate, and also visited Barns and Noble Bookstore at her request. She gave us a long tour of the store going up and down every aisle. The employees there knew her well because she’s a regular customer. She lingered the longest in the section of Christian books. This girl has a hunger for God. She told us about a couple of friends she had made. Sometimes when they get together, they read the Bible to each other and underline parts they like. She admires one of her friends a lot, who grew up in church and knows the Bible. “It’s like all of that was just given to her,” she commented with a deep longing. Zionna’s mother is in jail. She lives with her grandparents, but they don’t go to church. I told her how precious she is in God’s sight. Her friend had God handed to her, whereas Zionna had to run to him on her own. That meant a lot to her. I have a feeling that the Lord has big plans for Zianna. Please keep her in your prayers.

We’ve been praying together for revival on this site since May of 2023. We've asked God to raise up student leaders to pray for their school, and recently, we’ve been praying specifically for one of those students, a girl named Zionna. We met her for the first time four years ago. Zionna lives with her grandma and grandpa down the street from me—it's the same mobile home her great grandmother lived in. Their family has been there 50 years or more. My husband and I had given Zionna’s grandparents each a Bible. They told us that their granddaughter lived with them. She was only 11 at the time. When we came back, we met her and gave her a Bible, too. We encouraged her to read it and underline passages as she read. I don’t recall her saying a single word on that visit. Four years would pass before we would meet again. Stay tuned for more about Zionna tomorrow.

Many here have prayed that people would be hungry for the Lord once again, that a revival would sweep the land. We've asked that hearts and minds would be open to God's truth, His word, and His way. As we pray for revival, let's each pray for the schools in our area. Also, let's lift up high schools, colleges, and universities that we have attended or family members or others close to us. Let's claim these schools for Christ in our prayers. May young people discover His love, His wisdom, and His truth. Let's all join together and pray powerfully for revival.

Prayer warriors have been prayed over 2,400 prayers for revival on this site. We are asking God to bring revival to colleges and universities across the land. Recently, we've focused on Harvard University. It is considered by many to be the most prestigious university in the country. By 1636, approximately 17,000 Puritans had migrated to New England, so Harvard was founded to train clergy. It was called a "church in the wilderness". Harvard's mission statement, given in 1642, was, “Everyone shall consider as the main end of his life and studies, to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life." Harvard has fallen a long way from its Christian roots. In the beginning, it was a place where the Bible was at the core of its curriculum as God's truth was openly taught. In the beginning, waves of prayer swept across the campus. Today, Harvard is proudly secular, teaching humanist doctrines that encourage students to abandon their faith. Students and professors kneeling in prayer to an Almighty God have been replaced with students raising their fists and voices in protests. We are asking God to remember Harvard's rich past—remember the prayer warriors that at one time knelt on that campus in prayer, and hear our prayers for revival as well. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Luke 2:11-12

What does a revival look like? Every revival is different, but they usually have two things in common. Revivals start with prayer, and they leave a trail of lives that have been changed. In the small town of Slaughters, Kentucky, their revival started with prayer when parents and teachers interceded for the youth. The full impact of the revival there won’t be known for a long time. What we do know is that many were saved and baptized. At least 20 teenagers publicly declared their call into ministry. High school students worshipped together before school, and wrote Bible verses on Post-It notes, leaving them to encourage their fellow students.  The ripple effect of the gospel’s call is certain to spur others to proclaim the name of Jesus. The story of this small Kentucky town also serves as an encouragement to prayer warriors like those here on the Prayer Bank. God hears our prayers for revival. It will be exciting to see where God moves next with another outpouring of His Spirit.

There has been exciting news of revivals on several campuses. Asbury, Samford University, the University of Oklahoma, Purdue, and Texas A & M. What's it like to be in the middle of an awe-inspiring movement of God? At Asbury College, students, professors, local church leaders, and seminary students prayed, worshipped, and praised God together. Their voices rang out and people bowed at the alter with their arms stretched wide. Everyone sang as God poured out His mercy and love. That's what it was like for hours, and hours, and hours. No one wanted to leave. Lives were forever changed. Please help pray for revival. (See the prayer request below.)  May the Lord bless you in a powerful way for your faithfulness to pray.

Thousands attended a revival last week at Auburn University and a wave of students flocked to a pond there to be baptized. The joyful spirit of revival spread thoughout the campus. In contrast, a Wisconsin based group called The Freedom From Religion Foundation is calling on Snead State, an Alabama community college, to "immediately cease holding prayer at staff events or meals". As we pray for revival, let's pray for the protection and encouragement of those sharing their faith on college and university campuses. Thank you for praying for revival.

Reports from the recent Asbury University revival were inspiring! There was 24/7 prayer, worship, testimony, confession of sin, Scripture reading, silence, and more in the chapel at that Kentucky school. People from across the United States flocked to the campus to experience what God was doing. Lives have been forever changed. That is the power of revival. God's unseen hand is at work in other universities. We know that because that is what we are praying for, and God answers prayers. Please continue to pray for a powerful movement of God.

Yesterday, we mentioned that a revival of historic proportions came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen—just ONE prayer warrior! Every single day since the prayer request for revival was posted here, prayer warriors have faithfully prayed. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." Just picture God's eyes searching the earth for those who are faithful. May He see the faithful prayer warriors on the Prayer Bank praying. May he show Himself strong as He answers our prayer for revival. Thank you for praying for revival. May the Lord's blessings cover you as you pray. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There have been many revivals around the world. In 1932, revival came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen. It's reported that as God’s Word freely spread, more people were saved in North China (one missionary estimated 3,000 in his town alone)  than in any other year. Truly, the faithful prayers of even one prayer warrior can bear much fruit.

In America's first Great Awakening, the effects of revival were seen in the sheer number of converts, but the unmeasurable result was the magnitude of change in each heart. One could not walk through town in an evening  without hearing hymns sung by different families on every street. Revival impacted society deeply.

There has been a great awakening about every 80 years throughout American history, and it has been about 80 years since the last large revival. No wonder so many are waiting with anticipation to see the hand of God move in a big way again. In America's first Great Awakening, the colonists were convicted of their sin and renewed in their need for Jesus. The colonies became more united under a common banner of Christ. The overflow of the heart brought increased concern for orphans, increased mission work, increased church plants, and the composition of many great hymns. A revival produces powerful personal change as well as powerful changes in every area of society. Please join us in praying for revival.

America has had hundreds of local and regional revivals as well as a great awakening about every 80 years throughout its history. In the First Great Awakening (1730-55),  Jonathan Edwards, John Weasley, Charles Wesley, and George Whitfield were the main leaders. During this revival, colonists recognized the need for a personal relationship with Christ. Young people responded first and then revival spread to elders. George Whitefield preached to large crowds (sometimes over 30,000) in the open air. He wrote over 18,000 sermons. In New England, church membership doubled.

The New York Times has said that generation Z is the least religious generation in American history. 1/3 of this group identifies as religiously unaffiliated. Yet, videos of Gen Z students participating in continuous prayer and worship service at Asbury College drew international attention. The multi week revival there was marked by goodwill, radical humility, compassion, and a renewal of faith among visitors and students.

Praying for revival has been exciting because of the faithfulness of those who are praying. A core group of believers who pray has been a common thread for most revivals. So it is with anticipation the we have come together and prayed for a great movement of God. We've been praying specifically for universities. Every day this week, we've prayed for three different schools from our original list. What? A prayer request from God? Yes, God requested prayer for something close to His heart. He included prayer in a list that he provided, that when followed, produces a certain result—revival! 2 Chronicles 7:14 says:

If my people, which are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then  I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This passage is God's roadmap for revival, something that Christians across this land yearn for. What's exciting is that where it says “my people”, God's talking about believers like us. So, as believers, we can help propel a revival. It begins by us turning back to him. And as we turn to Him, we are specifically told to pray. So, here on this site, we'll be joining together to pray for revival. We hope that you will take part in this adventure! We're posting a special prayer request for revival and updating it regularly. Along with a general request for revival, we will be focusing on praying for our young people at specific colleges and universities where satan often has a stronghold. The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?  (Psalm 27:1)  One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.  (Psalm 27:4-5)  Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek. Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.  (Psalm 27:7-9)  I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Those times when we didn’t know how we were going to make it…..it was then that God was carrying us. Remember, satan’s mission is to kill, steal, destroy, and to put doubt in our minds.  He wants to make us second guess our Lord and Savior, as if He’s not answering our prayers. Lord, you are such a wonderful God. It says in your word in Psalm 100:5, "For the Lord is God; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations." Reading the Bible helps us know what God wants for us. It is His way of revealing Himself to us. It is His way of showing us what is right and wrong and how He actually thinks and feels about many things of life. The more you draw near to God, the more things will become clearer to you. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. The Bible tells us that His ways are higher than our ways. But they are not past finding out. He wants us to know Him. The Bible clearly and without mixing words tells us that God hates divorce and only allowed it because of the hardening of Moses' and his people's hearts. Lord, please cause (in a miraculous way) each of us to fall in love with our spouse again. Soften our hearts toward each other so that we will grow closer in the coming days. We know that You hate divorce and that You clearly want us to stay together. John 10:10 tells us that satan comes to kill, to steal, and destroy. But you came, Jesus that we might have life and life abundantly. That includes our marriages. The devil creates chains of hate and depression and anger and unforgiveness. He creates misunderstandings and dissension. The devil tempts us when we are weak, but God makes a way of escape every time. God will take the bitter things and make them sweet for you.  God never divides. He loves unity.  Let us pray together: Cause the enemy to be silenced for he is the accuser of the brethren and he accuses day and night. Cause the truth to set us free. Please give all of us the identity you want us to have and forgive all of us for not seeing ourselves as You see us. Heal our relationships and bless our finances. Show us Your ways and Your path, Lord, so that we can walk in it. Heal us and give us the peace only you can give. Cause us to have vision and hope that You are at work. In the mighty name of Jesus. We as Children of God….despite what we ourselves are going through can find/take the time out of our busy schedules to pray for others, and for this I am thankful!!! For Romans 5:3-5 says: “We are to glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”  Although it’s hard to understand why certain things happen…why we, our loved ones, or others goes through what we go through, but we can rest assure that God has a plan for each and every one of us. Remember, before he formed us in our mother’s womb…he knew us and what our destiny and walk would be. My time of greatest need was also my time of greatest spiritual growth, and I thank God for it as I look back on it.  Let us pray that as you are calling on God for His blessings, no obstacle can keep those blessings from you.  May the Lord establish it for it is His will that you prosper.   May it be that you, too, will one day look back and see how your faith grew during difficult times.  The sacred words of God are the most powerful encouragement there is.

Where do we begin to learn how to obey?  The only answer is: the Bible.  The Bible is for reproof, correction, and teaching. (2 Timothy 3:16) "How can a young man keep his way pure?  By taking heed to the Word of God." (Psalms 119:9)  The scriptures are a guideline for believers to follow like a map set to a treasure.  The treasure we find in obedience is more than we can comprehend here on the earth.  In fact, the Bible says that we can't fathom what Jesus has waiting for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) Every time we obey Him, we are showing our love for Him. To obey Him is to seek Him and His will.  The Bible says that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly (wholeheartedly) seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Let us pray:  Father, You give reward to men.  Scripture tells us that You have favor on those who love You. Our obedience proves our love for You.  We care about what You want.  You want to bless people that are obedient to You. Lord help us be serious about our obedience to You.  In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. (1 Kings 8:2-23) (Matthew 7:21)

Sometimes we have our own ideas about something. We think we know what we want, but we forget to ask God what He wants. Does this mean that we have not submitted to God and made Him ruler over us? We are human. We want what we want. Our will is strong. Our God has a will for our lives, too. He sees the details of our lives, and He designed a perfect plan. The Bible says, "I know the plans I have for you, plans for well being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope." (Jer.29:11) He wants us to submit to Him and obey His plans by putting down our will for His will.

Let us pray: Help us to say," Not our will but Yours," Oh Lord! May our will bend joyfully and with love because we trust You. We love You because You first loved us. Help us to think about your sacrifice.  We will lay down our will and let it be crucified. Help us have the same desires that You have for our lives. Lord,  you said that if we claim your promises, believe and pray in  your name, and if you will it, You shall grant our petitions. Lord, we look to you right now to heal us, provide for us, and make our  relationships strong.  God we know that all things are possible to those who believe, and we’re believing and  trusting in you, heavenly Father, for Isaiah 41:10 says, "Do not fear, for I am with  you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help  you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." As humans, we experience times when our flesh cries out with longings.  Vengeance.  Lust. Greed.  Being right. Attention on me. Having what is fair. The list goes on and on. The Bible tells us:  "...walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)  We are told to live by the Spirit instead.  This takes an act of obedience and submission to His Spirit.  But how do we obey this command when our flesh cries out to us?  The Bible gives reference to a war within and a war without.  Paul explained it like this, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." (Romans 7:14-24) Without knowing Him and who He is, we struggle with our flesh (our bodies). Obedience comes from a heart of understanding and from knowing and loving God.  The more we get to know Jesus, the more we want to obey and become like Him.  The more we know Him, the easier it is to obey Him. He lives through our lives. Therefore, "...clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. ( Romans 13:14)

Let us pray:  We ask You, Lord, to help everything in our flesh die. To die to our flesh is gain because we get to know You.  May every lust of our body be forced to give up in submission to Your grace and love.  May the fruit of the Spirit take over our lives, and may we exert self-control with Your help.  Lord, other things of the flesh just do not matter to us anymore.  We just want You.  Mind, soul, and body...all we want is to obey You.  As I get to know You, it is not a chore, but a privilege to obey You, Lord, with all of our flesh. Help us clothe ourselves with You. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Jesus is real, and He loves you.  Have you seen that picture of Jesus standing knocking on a door? If you notice, there is no doorknob. That's because Jesus is a gentleman and waits for you to open the door to your life. Jesus was born of a virgin, He is both human and divine, He willingly went to the cross, suffered and died as payment for our sins. Then He rose from the dead! Resurrection Sunday, which most people call Easter! Alleluia!  If you believe this, you are born again and in a sinless relationship with our heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Just start to really walk with God. You will be in partnership with the source of all good things. I pray God will keep you in the center of His plan for your life. You are precious to Him.  I pray you will come into a joyous time with God for the rest of your life and into eternity. Good Friday was here, but Resurrection Sunday is today!

In  times of trouble, sometimes we get anxious.   Anxiety divides the mind, slows productivity, affects relationships, and  gives us headaches and other health problems.   Whatever you are anxious about, bring it to God and then TRUST  Him. Trust that He will rescue you.  Anxiety is a faith battle; you can give  it to the Lord, and He will help you. It says in His word “Casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for You. (1 Peter 5:7) Remember to renew your mind with His word, so You can have it ready. Whenever you have a negative thought,  rebuke it in the name of Jesus, quote His Word, and thank Him.

Father, we come to you right now in the name of Jesus, and we ask You take  all anxiety and all worry away from us, Lord. You say in your word in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit  of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  Lord, we believe Your Word  and pray blessings for peace.  Lord, we pray that whatever worries/anxieties  we have, that we will turn them over to You and that we will TRUST You, Lord,  because You are our God, our Healer, and Lord. You are not just interested in  our physical health, but our emotional health, too.  Lord, we pray that You will fill us with  your precious peace, and we pray that we will learn the promises that You  have in the Bible for us.  You say that You are the Lord our Healer, You are our Peace, and You came to give us life and life  abundantly.  Lord, whenever  we get worried or afraid, help us to rebuke those thoughts in the name of Jesus because You gave us Your name, Your word, and the precious blood of Jesus  that has power in our lives. We pray blessings and peace of mind.  We pray  that Your angels will protect us at all times in Jesus' name. Lord, we love You so  much, and we give You all the glory and Honor, and we pray all this in the  name of Jesus. Amen

Father, you are a God of big things! You can handle big things, our problems, our cares. This is the reason why we now ask for your protection and healing, Father. We ask you, Lord, to bind all diseases, commanding them to leave, in the Name of Jesus. From our heads down to our toes, every bone and nerve, our brains and all of our organs, keep them all in order just as You have made us, Lord. We also know your promise to provide for our needs and heal relationships. We trust and believe in your power to heal us, provide for us, and make our relationships with others strong, in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

How much does God require obedience?  In the Bible, He actually tells us, "If you love me, keep my commandments."  He goes on to say that His commandments are not grievous to us (they are not hard for us to follow). So, love and obedience go hand in hand. We love Him and want to please Him.  We understand that He wants what is best for us and that He put His rules in place to keep us safe and to help us in life.

Let us pray:  Lord,  we trust You.  We love You.  We want to obey You.  Give us a heart of obedience. Please help us be sensitive to Your voice.  And may Your scripture guide us to what is on Your heart for us.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.

If you are in need of encouragement, Read Ephesians 1 and see how many times it says "in Him" and what it says about who we are in Him. Even if your situation is terrible, remember how our God goes on a rant against the enemy. Remember in the old testament where it says "more be for us than are against us"?  What about Asa's prayer for deliverance?  See 2nd Chronicles 14:11. A powerful prayer, a stronghold busting prayer!  You are God's darling child. He loves you. He will lift you up from the miry place and set your feet on the Rock! Do not be weary in well doing.  Get angry at the one who is causing you trouble - God's enemy and ours, but remember, God is always there for you!

Lord, we come into Your throne room with a "knocking prayer" (Matthew 7:7) because you have said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."  We know that "You are not a man, that You should lie," (Num. 23:19) and You said, "Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14)  Lord, we ask that You heal us, provide for us, restore us, and make our marriages strong.  We ask these things in Your holy name. We all have a picture in our minds of what a father looks like.  Our view of God is often based on what kind of relationship we have with the our earthly fathers.  Absent or Present.  Caring or Cruel.  Critical or Merciful.  Tender or Harsh.  Faraway or Intimate.  Who is God the Father? How much does He require obedience?  How much does He want to spend time with me?  The search for God's heart is on! "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8)  But where do we begin?  We always begin at the place that is closest to God's heart: Jesus.  "No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) This is what Jesus told us along with, "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." ( John 14:9) Jesus never lies.  He is an exact picture of God for us.  So, if we search the scripture for Jesus, His character, His nature, His heart for us is found.  Search for God's heart.  You'll discover His love for you.

Father, we thank You right now for your mercy, grace, and favor. We thank You for what you have done, what You're doing right now, and what You're about to do in our lives. We know that You're a loving just, and forgiving God...one who knows all and sees all. We know that Satan's mission is to kill, steal, and destroy our lives, but we know that You came so that we may have life abundantly. We pray right now, God, asking you to remove anything that is not of You out of our lives.....In Jesus name we pray. Let us commit our ways to the Lord.  A 33 year old man, Jesus,  died in our place for our sins and the sins of the entire world, saw his own Father have to turn his face from him, and was tortured beyond recognition. He was raised to life by the power of the God that made the universe. He ascended to heaven where He prays for us and intercedes for us. He loves us so much that He did this for us. Our real question now is what we choose to do with this Jesus. He is for us. He is with us. He will give us the strength we need to face the obstacles and problems in our lives. Let us commit our lives to Jesus Christ.  May this relationship add to our lives. The Bible clearly tells us: "Seek first His kingdom and right standing with Him and all these things will be added to you."  (Matthew 6:33)

Reading the word of God helps build our faith. It says in Romans 10:17, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." By reading the Word of God and seeing the great things Jesus did for us, our faith increases.  Remind God that he says in Jeremiah 29:13 "And you will seek Me and find Me when you search me with all your heart." Tell him, "Lord, I am seeking You, help me make your promises mine so my faith will increase, and I can believe in You more and more every day." Lord, help us grow, and help us read your Word and make every promise of your Word ours. Lord, we have a great desire to grow and to have more faith.  Help us.  May your angels always camp around us, and may you bless us. We’re standing, kneeling, and praying as believers of Christ for healing, your provision, and your strength. Our prayers are now rising before the Lord that we be at peace and in a state of expectation of what He is doing for us. The word salvation comes from the Greek word sozo. Its definition includes health and every necessary provision.  Let us meditate the meaning of some of God's names: Jehoveh Rophe, the Lord God our healer; Jehoveh Jireh, the Lord God our provider; Jehoveh Shalom, the Lord God our peace.  There is nothing God cannot do! May there be a great testimony of God's faithfulness in the days ahead for all of us!

Revive us, oh Lord! Breathe a new wind of the Holy Spirit into our hearts and lives. Give us fresh bread, new testimonies to Your faithfulness. (Ephesians 5:19-21 Amplified Bible)  "Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices and instruments and making melody with all your heart to the Lord, At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father. Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." Mary Anne’s footnote: I believe we do not have to thank God FOR everything. I believe we do have to thank God IN every situation. For example, we wouldn't thank God for evil, but we would thank Him as we walk through the evil because we know He will rescue and deliver us - amen!

Hebrews 3:13 says,  “but, exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." The word exhort means encourage here. This just made me think about how we encourage each other here at the NPB, and how much our encouragements mean, especially to the ones that are not going to church right now.  May the Lord continue to use each one of us to do that, to pray and encourage one another. - Have a blessed day!

Dear Lord, we come to you right now in the name of Jesus, first to thank you for what you do in our lives.  Lord we know you perform miracles; we ask you to perform miracles in our lives.  Touch every part of our bodies; heal us in the name of Jesus.  Provide for our needs.  Strengthen our marriages.  Lord, You say in your word (Jeremiah 32:27)  "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. The Lord forgives our sins, heals us when we are sick, and protects us from death.  His kindness and love are a crown on our heads. Each day that we live, he provides for our needs and gives us the strength of a young eagle.  For all who are mistreated, the Lord brings justice.  He taught his Law to Moses and showed all Israel what he could do.  The Lord is merciful!   He is kind and patient, and his love never fails. The Lord won’t always be angry and point out our sins; he doesn’t punish us as our sins deserve. How great is God’s love for all who worship him?  Greater than the distance between heaven and earth! How far has the Lord taken our sins from us?  Farther than the distance from east to west!  Just as parents are kind to their children, the Lord is kind to all who worship him, because he knows we are made of dust.  We humans are like grass or wild flowers  that quickly bloom.  But a scorching wind blows, and they quickly wither to be forever forgotten. The Lord is always kind to those who worship him, and he keeps his promises to their descendants who faithfully obey him.  God has set up his kingdom  in heaven, and he rules the whole creation.  All of you mighty angels, who obey God’s commands, come and praise your Lord! All of you thousands who serve and obey God, come and praise your Lord!  All of God’s creation and all that he rules, come and praise your Lord!  With all my heart I praise the Lord!"

(Proverbs 3:5-6) Pray without ceasing.  Remember the word PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens. That means a prayer loaded with faith & trust knowing that God answers our prayer according to His plans and in His time.  (Psalm 5:1-3) "Give ear to my words, O lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help my King and my God: for to you I pray. In the morning Lord, in the morning I lay my requests before you, and I will wait expectantly." Using God's assurances and promises in the Bible, let us resist the thief that steals our joy. As a Christian, there's something good, something better that God has in store for us while we're alive! Live on a day to day basis being grateful to God for today. There is so much to thank Him for. What a blessed life! Thank you Lord! (Hebrews 13:15)  "Through Christ, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of Praise - the fruit of lips that openly profess His name."  May our daily focus be on Him over and above and on top of our worldly issues and believe in God's promise when He said: "Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27) Sometimes we face situations that are difficult.  The Lord warned us in His Word that in the world we will have trouble, but He also reminds us of His peace that surpasses all understanding. What a great assurance to know that our Lord, the Prince of Peace, will be guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.  We can rest in this as we remember to not let our hearts be troubled and not be afraid.  We are not alone; the Prince of Peace is with us every day of our lives.  Lord, thank you for your precious peace that you left us.  Thank you for being with us every day of our lives. Thank you for guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us not to let our hearts be troubled and help us not to be afraid. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me….. Lord I'm tired….Make me over again….Everyday is the same thing….And I'm ready for change, Lord….Please, Lord, make me over again…..Sometimes the clouds are low, and I can hardly see the road I ask a question, Lord….Lord, why so much pain? ....(Ephesians 6:12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms…..Father, I know I’ve let you down…Time and time again…Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's…….Wash me and make me whole….Please, Lord, make me over again…..(John 10:10)  The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I/Jesus come that you may have and enjoy life, and have it abundantly…..The Lord Has been so good to me….More than I’ve been to myself…..(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life….He dried all of my tears away….Turned my midnights into day….So I'll just say thank you Lord…….(Isaiah 41:10)  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Thank You Lord, not only for your Mercy and Grace...but for your everlasting and forgiving Love!!!!

Lord Jesus, there are many Christian families that are being attacked by the devil; many are weak and are broken. We come to you believing in your promise "But thus saith the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children." Isaiah 49:25  We are praying for our families and our generations that will follow, that they will be saved.  We simply rely on this promise: "...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thy house."
